“We are thrilled to have a Florida-based company agree to provide sponsorship of our team and for the opening race of the 2006 season”, Key stated. “We look forward to representing the Russell E. Garwood Electrical Contractor Company well in Daytona and at each of the other races that they will be with us”.

The Russell E. Garwood Electrical Contractor Company is a family-owned and operated business with more than 30 years of servicing the Marco Island area. The company specializes in new home construction and dock electrical services and is a dealer for Guardian Generators. The company also provides assorted electrical services to remodels and for landscape lighting.

“I have been a race fan all of my life, and to be able to provide sponsorship of a race team in Daytona and in other races this coming season should really excite my customers and employees. I have known (Key Motorsports Crew Chief) Lance Hopper for some time and am honored to be able to support the Key Motorsports race team in 2006”, Russell E. (Rusty) Garwood, the company founder, stated.

The company will continue support of the #40 race truck in races at Gateway International Raceway outside of St. Louis in April, the August event at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway and the season finale in Homestead. Phoenix and Las Vegas are also potential races in which the Russell E. Garwood Electrical Contractor Company may extend support for the Key Motorsports entry in 2006.
