Key Motorsports announced today that NCTS regular Brandon Whitt will test the number 40 truck this week in Daytona. NASCAR veteran Lance Hooper will serve up top of the pit box as the crew chief for Key Motorsports in the 2006 season. Key Motorsports recently relocated to 222 Pitt Road in Mooresville, NC, and after extensive renovations, the shop is up and running at full capacity. Several key employees have been hired on and the team is set for the 2006 season. “We are very thankful to Brandon that he was available to help us out by testing our truck this week.” stated Curtis Key, team owner. “We are looking forward to a driver announcement soon for the 2006 season”, he added.
