JEFF GREEN / KEY MOTORSPORTS POST TOP-25
AT NASHVILLE; MAINTAINS POINTS POSITION
The Key Motorsports team with driver Jeff Green
rallied throughout the weekend to bring the #40 Chevrolet home from Nashville with a 24th place finish in Saturday night's Federated Auto Parts 300. Forced to start the event from 41st after after losing a new
engine in practice Friday evening, Green and crew chief Gary Showalter had little track time to dial in the #40 on the 1.333-mile superspeedway. Key Motorsports persevered to maintain 23rd position in the 2010 Nationwide owner point standings.

Showalter offered, "The Key Motorsports crew did a great job this weekend and deserve credit
for their effort, they pulled together on the car all week and did a good job on pit road during the race. Losing the motor in practice caught us by surprise and
is a disappointment, another obstacle to overcome. Jeff drove a good race, kept it on the lead lap and in the top-25. We are looking forward to going to Kentucky with him next week."

Green wasted no time moving the Key Motorsports Chevrolet forward when the green flag waved, going from 41st into the top-30 by lap 15, then entering the top-25 by lap 75. The 2000 NASCAR Nationwide Series champion continued to hold down a spot in the top-25 for the balance of the 225 lap race.
Scored as high as 18th in the running order on a lap 113 restart, Green was easily able to
maneuver the Key Motorsports Chevrolet through accidents that brought out the caution on laps 118 and 127, as well as endure two additional restarts after a debris
caution was displayed on lap 165 with the final interruption coming at lap 197, to carry the momentum needed for a top-25 finish.

excited and the guys on the team are as well," said Showalter. "He was on the pit box with us at Charlotte last week, we all learned a lot and have incorporated everything we
picked up into this Nashville car. We have really worked over the #40 this week and are ready for Nashville."
