New Hampshire Motor Speedway

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

WELCOME BACK – Scott Wimmer returns to pilot the No. 40 StopRepairBills.com Chevrolet after a one week stint with JR Motorsports. Wimmer has a solid record at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, with only one finish outside the top-15 in his six starts at the track.

CHASSIS INFORMATION – Key Motorsports will once again be utilizing chassis #050 at this weekend's race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the same chassis used in last weekend’s race at The Milwaukee Mile where Aric Almirola scored an 11th place finish in his first race with the team.

POINTS UPDATE – Almirola’s 11th place finish gave Key Motorsports a huge boost in the NASCAR Nationwide Series owner point standings, bumping the No. 40 from 30th to 26th. Curtis Key’s entry now sits 69 points inside the top-30, and is locked into the race for the second week in a row.

Driver Quotes:

ON NEW HAMPSHIRE MOTOR SPEEDWAY – “I feel real good going to Loudon. Aric did a great job at Milwaukee and I think he learned quite a bit. They’re pretty similar tracks with similar setups, so I think we’ll be able to go there and run well. They were real close to a top-10 last week and hopefully we can do go there and get our first top-10 of the year. We’ll definitely be trying hard to get that.”
