Martinsville Speedway
Tuesday, March 24, 2009
WELCOME BACK WESTERMAN Key Motorsports welcomes back Westerman Companies as primary sponsor of the No. 40 Chevy Silverado for their first race of the 2009 season. The Ohio-based company, which performs a variety of design,
engineering, manufacturing, and machining services for the oil, nuclear, and marine industries, will be entering its third consecutive season as a sponsor of the Key Motorsports Chevy Silverado, having first come on board in 2007.
TRUCK HIATUS Mike Bliss, driver of the No. 40 Westerman Companies Chevrolet, will be stepping out of his Camping World Truck Series ride for the series' next race at Kansas Speedway. Bliss, who also races full-time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for Phoenix Motorsports, will be racing in the Aaron's 312 at
Talladega Superspeedway, which schedule conflicts with Kansas' O'Reilly Auto Parts 250. Announcements regarding his replacement for the Kansas race are forthcoming.
CHASSIS INFO Key Motorsports will utilize chassis #004 this weekend at Martinsville Speedway. This chassis was raced most recently by Mike Bliss at Phoenix International Raceway in fall of 2008.

BARGAIN PRICED Tickets are still available for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Sprint Cup Series races held this weekend at Martinsville Speedway, the oldest track on the NASCAR circuit. In response to the country's current economic conditions, the speedway has slashed ticket prices for both events. The
track has also added new low-price combo deals at nine of its concession stands.
Mike Bliss Quotes and Facts:
ON MARTINSVILLE SPEEDWAY "Ive never won at Martinsville, but I have enjoyed some good runs and really like the track. Its a short, flat track, and Ive had a reasonable amount of success over the years on tracks like that. It's a tough place to race at. Track position is key, and you've got to stay out
of trouble, but if you have a good truck and a good crew, you can be successful.
