LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Wednesday, February 25, 2009) – Owner Curtis Key has named the Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel & Casino as the Official Las Vegas Area Hotel of Key Motorsports.
The Stratosphere, located at the heart of the action on the tip of the Las Vegas Strip, will provide hotel rooms for the entire Key Motorsports crew and driver Scott Wimmer for the duration of their stay in Las Vegas for both the NASCAR Nationwide Series Sam's Town 300 this weekend, and the NASCAR Camping World Truck
Series Qwik Line Las Vegas 350 on September 26th.
In addition to their official status, the Stratosphere Las Vegas logo will appear on the lower real quarter panels of the No. 40 Key Motorsports Chevy Impala.
To promote this weekend's race and the relationship between Key Motorsports and the Stratosphere, Scott Wimmer will make a personal appearance at the hotel Friday, February 27th at 7:00 PM PT.
The action at Las Vegas Motor Speedway kicks off this Friday with NASCAR Nationwide Series practice at 10:30 AM PT. The green flag for the Sam's Town 300 will wave on Saturday at 1:30 PM PT.
